Ingredients
– 2 cups Mushrooms
– 1 Egg
– 1/4 cup Flour
– 1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
– 1/4 teaspoon Salt
– 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
– 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1-First, preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit to kick things off.
2-Remove stems from all mushrooms for even coating.
3-Combine Panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
4-Optionally, pulse the mixture in a food processor for finer crumbs that stick better.
5-Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with the beaten egg, and one with the Panko mixture.
6-Dip each mushroom in flour, then egg, and finally coat it thoroughly in the Panko mix.
7-Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray, add the mushrooms, and give them a light spray too.
8-Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, turning halfway through until golden brown.

๐ Any mushroom variety works well; Portobello mushrooms are particularly good for size and flavor.
๐ช Processing Panko bread crumbs into smaller pieces improves the coating’s adhesion to the mushrooms.
๐ถ๏ธ For a spicy dip, mix 1/4 cup ranch dressing with 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce for a tasty complement.
