3 ยฝ cups all-purpose flour

4 teaspoons baking powder

ยฝ teaspoon kosher salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon almond extract

2 tablespoons milk (any variety)

1 cup sliced almonds

2 cups powdered sugar

ยฝ teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

2-Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.

7-Bake for 20-22 minutes, until bars have a soft shortbread texture and are not browned.
