1Β½ cups freshly squeezed lime juice

1ΒΎ cups freshly squeezed blood orange juice

1 cup triple sec

Instructions

1-Gather all ingredients and tools, including fresh blood oranges, tequila, fresh lime, triple sec, simple syrup, a cocktail shaker, ice, and a strainer.

2-Juice the blood oranges and limes, ensuring no seeds contaminate the juice for a smooth finish.

3-Add 2 oz. tequila, 2 oz. blood orange juice, 2 oz. lime juice, 1 oz. triple sec, and 2 tsp. simple syrup into the cocktail shaker for a single serving.

4-Fill the shaker with ice, then securely close and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

5-Rim the serving glass with lime and salt if desired; strain the cocktail into the glass filled with fresh ice.

6-Garnish with a thin blood orange slice and serve immediately to enjoy the freshest flavors.
