  • Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients

– 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted

– 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate

– 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup (100g) packed light brown sugar

– 1/3 cup (35g) cocoa powder

– 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour

– 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, room temperature

– 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

– 1/4 cup (50g) packed light brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 large egg

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

– 1 1/3 cups (160g) all-purpose flour

– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a 9ร—13 inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil for easy removal.

2-The preparation time is just 15 minutes, making this ideal for working professionals and busy parents.

3-Once your oven is ready, you can move on to making the brownie batter.

4-Melt the butter and stir in the cocoa powder, then whisk in the sugars and salt until well combined.

5-Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating them thoroughly for that glossy finish we love in brownies.

6-For the cookie dough, cream the room temperature butter with sugars on high speed for 3-4 minutes until fluffy, then mix in the egg, vanilla, and dry ingredients before folding in the chocolate chips.

7-Assemble by spreading the brownie batter evenly in the dish, then drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top, leaving some brownie visible for that perfect layered effect.

8-Bake covered for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake another 20 minutes for a total cook time of 40 minutes.
