Instructions
1-First, place the thinly sliced bell peppers on the bottom of a casserole dish to form the base.
2-Next, lay the 4 small chicken breasts on top of the bell peppers for a flavorful foundation.
3-Then, generously sprinkle the Cajun seasoning made from 1 teaspoon paprika, ΒΌ teaspoon cayenne pepper, ΒΌ teaspoon oregano, ΒΌ teaspoon thyme, and ΒΌ teaspoon salt over the chicken breasts.
4-Add the minced 4 cloves garlic on top of the chicken to boost the aroma.
5-Place 2 slices of the 6 oz cold, refrigerated cream cheese on each chicken breast for a creamy layer.
6-Sprinkle Β½ cup shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken to melt and enhance the dish.
7-Bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through.
8-If you want a golden top, broil for 2 minutes to brown the cheese.
9-Finally, when serving, scoop the bell peppers from under the chicken and arrange them around and on top for a complete meal.
