๐Ÿซ The Candy Acorns Recipe offers a fun and festive way to create sweet fall treats that are perfect for decorating desserts or sharing with family.
๐ŸŒฐ Combining chocolate kisses and vanilla wafers, these candy acorns are simple to make and add seasonal charm to any occasion.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: About 75 candy acorns

Ingredients

– 11 ounces chocolate kisses (any flavor)

– 75 mini vanilla wafers (about half of an 11-ounce package)

– 1 cup baking chips (any flavor, divided)

– 1 teaspoon coconut oil or cooking oil

Instructions

1-First Step: Unwrap the desired number of chocolate kisses and set them aside. This full 11-ounce amount makes about 75 candy acorns, so adjust based on how many you need.

2-Second Step: Remove unbroken whole mini vanilla wafers from the package and set aside as many as you have chocolate kisses to match your batch size.

3-Third Step: In a small bowl, combine half of the baking chips with the coconut oil. Microwave the mixture in 30-second increments, stirring well until melted, which helps avoid any lumps for a smooth finish.

4-Fourth Step: Use a toothpick or the end of a chopstick to apply the melted mixture to the flat side of a vanilla wafer and attach the flat side of a chocolate kiss to it. Set the cookie with the kiss side up until the chocolate hardens and the kiss sticks firmly.

5-Fifth Step: If the chocolate hardens before applying the next part, melt it again as needed. Then, apply a small amount of the melted mixture to the opposite side of the cookie and attach an unmelted baking chip as the acorn stem.

6-Sixth Step: Gently lay the candy acorn on its side and allow it to cool completely. Once done, use the finished candy acorns as decorations on pies, in bowls, or on cookie trays for a festive touch.
