πŸ§€ The Caramelized Onion Apple Brie Grilled Cheese Sandwich combines creamy Brie with sweet caramelized onions and crisp apple slices for a delightful flavor experience.
🍎 This sandwich is a quick, comforting meal perfect for a satisfying lunch or dinner that warms and delights with every bite.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 3 sandwiches

Ingredients

– 6 slices bread (thick-cut preferred, sourdough also suitable)

– 8 ounces soft Brie cheese, sliced thinly

– 1 apple, sliced thinly

– 1 cup caramelized onions

– 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

1-Spread one side of each bread slice with butter. Place 3 slices butter-side down.

2-Divide the Brie, apple slices, and caramelized onions into three equal portions.

3-Layer one portion of Brie, apple slices, and caramelized onions onto each of the 3 buttered bread slices, reserving a little Brie to place on top of the apple and onions.

4-Top each assembled sandwich with one of the remaining bread slices, butter-side facing out.

5-Cook the sandwiches on a warm skillet or panini press until the bread is golden brown and toasted, and the Brie cheese is fully melted. If using a skillet, flip the sandwiches once halfway through cooking to toast both sides evenly.

6-Slice each sandwich in half and serve warm.
