Ingredients
– 1 tablespoon butter
– 1 clove garlic, minced
– 2 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into small pieces
– 1/2 cup milk
– 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
– 1 cup cooked chicken, chopped
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– Pizza dough (amount as needed for a large circle)
Instructions
1-Prepare the sauce: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the milk, stirring until smooth. Mix in the parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Set the sauce aside.
2-Prepare the pizza crust: Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a large circle. Pre-bake the crust on a pizza stone or baking sheet at 425 degrees F for 4-5 minutes, unless using thin crust pizza, which should not be pre-baked.
3-Assemble the pizza: Spoon the Alfredo sauce evenly over the crust. Add a thin layer of the mozzarella cheese, then spread the chopped chicken over it. Add more of the mozzarella cheese and sprinkle extra parmesan cheese on top.
4-Bake the pizza at 425 degrees F for 8-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
