๐Ÿซ Perfect for chocolate lovers, these cookies combine the classic chocolate chip flavor with rich brownie chunks for a decadent treat.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups light brown sugar (packed)

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups small brownie chunks

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Extra sea salt for sprinkling on cookies (optional)

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a baking mat to prevent sticking.

2-In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon sea salt, then set it aside for later.

3-Next, cream 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature with 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar for about 3 minutes using a mixer until it’s light and fluffy.

4-Add 2 large eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, mixing until everything is fully combined.

5-Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture with the mixer on low speed, stirring just until blended.

6-Fold in 1 1/2 cups small brownie chunks and 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips gently to keep the dough chunky.

7-Form the dough into balls using about 2 tablespoons per cookie and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.

8-If you like, sprinkle a bit of extra sea salt on top for a tasty twist.

9-Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn slightly golden, then let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to cool completely.
