🍪 Refreshing frozen yogurt bites give a cool, protein‑boosted treat that satisfies sweet cravings without added guilt.
🥄 The cookie‑dough style chocolate coating adds indulgent texture while staying low‑calorie and nutrient‑rich.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 35 minutes
  • Yield: About 8 servings (approximately 8 bites)

Ingredients

– 1 cup plain, unsweetened non-dairy yogurt

– 2 Tbsp protein powder (optional)

– ¼ cup cashew butter or any other nut or seed butter

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey

– 1½ cups chocolate chips for melting

– 2 Tbsp coconut oil for melting

– Mini chocolate chips (or additional chocolate chips) for mixing into the yogurt base

Instructions

1-First, in a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, protein powder (if using), nut or seed butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup or honey. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully incorporated, creating that creamy base we all love.

2-Next, fold in the mini chocolate chips, making sure they’re spread evenly throughout for a surprise in every bite.

3-Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and use a medium-large cookie scoop to portion the mixture into even dollops, spacing them apart so they freeze properly.

4-After that, freeze the dollops for at least 1 hour, or until they’re solid, which helps them hold their shape for the next step.

5-Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil over low heat or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring until it’s nice and smooth.

6-Once frozen, dip each bite into the melted chocolate to coat it completely. For a thicker shell, dip again after the first layer sets for about 5-10 minutes.

7-Finally, return the coated bites to the freezer for another 30 minutes until the chocolate hardens, then they’re ready to store or eat right away.

Notes

🍦 Ensure the yogurt bites are completely frozen before dipping; this prevents the chocolate from melting too quickly.
🍽️ Use a cookie scoop for uniform sizes and consistent freezing times.
🍫 For an extra‑crunchy coating, dip each bite twice, allowing the first layer to set before the second dip.
