๐Ÿฆ Experience restaurant-quality shrimp in a rich, velvety garlic cream sauce that comes together in just 20 minutes
๐Ÿง… Transform simple ingredients into an elegant, impressive dish perfect for date nights or special weeknight dinners

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp

– 4 finely minced garlic cloves

– 1 cup fresh spinach

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese

– 1/8 teaspoon red crushed pepper (optional)

– 1 tablespoon butter

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1-Jumping into this recipe is straightforward, and you’ll have dinner on the table fast. Start by heating oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, which sets the base for all those great flavors. Season your 1 lb of peeled and deveined shrimp with salt, pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon paprika, then cook them for just 30 seconds on each side until they turn pink and are ready to set aside.

2-Next, in the same skillet, add the 4 finely minced garlic cloves and 1/8 teaspoon red crushed pepper if you’re using it, and let them cook for 15 seconds until everything smells amazing. Toss in 1 cup fresh spinach, season it with a bit more salt and pepper, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, adding extra oil if things look dry. Then, pour in 1 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup fresh parmesan cheese, stirring as it cooks for 6 to 7 minutes until the sauce thickens up nicely.

3-Taste the sauce and season it just right before returning the shrimp to the skillet. Cover and cook on low heat for another 30 seconds to warm everything through. For a finishing touch, garnish with fresh parsley if you have it, and you’re all set. This whole process takes about 10 minutes to prepare and another 10 to cook, making it ideal for busy nights.

Notes

๐Ÿท Add a splash of white wine (chardonnay or Pinot Grigio) after cooking the garlic for extra depth and complexity
๐Ÿฅฌ Cook fresh spinach separately before adding to the sauce to prevent it from making the sauce watery
๐Ÿ Double the sauce recipe if serving over pasta for perfect coating and generous portions
