πŸ₯” Enjoy a comforting and creamy beef and potato skillet that’s perfect for a hearty dinner with minimal prep time.
πŸ§€ This recipe combines savory ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheddar for a satisfying meal that the whole family will love.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

– 1 28 oz package frozen O’Brien-style potatoes

– 1 tablespoon water

– 1 pound ground beef

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– Pepper to taste

– 2 cans (10 3/4 oz each) condensed cream of mushroom soup

– 2/3 cup milk

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1-Start: by combining the frozen O’Brien-style potatoes and water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the potatoes are tender. This step makes the potatoes easy to mix in later.

2-While the potatoes cook, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s fully cooked, then drain any excess grease to keep the dish from getting too oily.

3-Add the salt, pepper, condensed cream of mushroom soup, and milk to the beef, stirring everything together until it’s well combined and starts to simmer gently.

4-Mix in the cooked potatoes, blending them with the beef mixture, then reduce the heat to a simmer.

5-Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, cover the skillet, and cook until the cheese melts completely, creating that creamy finish everyone loves.
