Oil for frying Needed to cook the chicken over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side until done

1 pound fettuccine pasta Cooked al dente as the base for the dish

2 cups heavy cream Forms the rich foundation of the Alfredo sauce

2 tablespoons butter Melted to start the sauce and add smoothness

3 finely minced garlic cloves Infuses the sauce with aromatic flavor

½ cup parmesan cheese Stirred into the sauce for creaminess and taste

¼ cup reserved pasta water Added to the sauce to enhance its texture and creaminess

Instructions

1-First: prepare the chicken by thinly slicing 4 to 6 breasts and coating them in the flour, eggs, and breadcrumb mixture. The breadcrumbs include 2 cups panko, ¼ cup parmesan, 1 ½ teaspoons each of garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, plus salt and pepper. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the chicken for 2 to 3 minutes per side until it’s cooked through and golden.

2-Next: cook 1 pound of fettuccine pasta according to the package until al dente, reserving ¼ cup of the pasta water. In a separate skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and briefly cook 3 minced garlic cloves. Add 2 cups of heavy cream and ½ cup parmesan cheese, then whisk for 6 to 8 minutes until the sauce thickens, seasoning with salt and pepper.

3-Slice the fried chicken into bite-sized pieces once it’s cooled slightly.

4-Toss the cooked pasta with the Alfredo sauce and reserved pasta water for extra creaminess.

5-Top the pasta with the crispy chicken pieces and mix gently.

6-Serve right away, perhaps with optional additions like broccoli or mushrooms for extra flavor.
