Ingredients

– 2 slices of thinly sliced baked leg ham

– 4 large thin slices of Mojo Marinated Pork

– 2 thin slices of Swiss cheese

– 2 to 3 thinly sliced dill pickles

– 2 pieces of white baguettes, each 15 cm (6 inches) long and cut in half

– Melted butter for brushing (amount as needed to coat the outside)

– American mustard for spreading (amount as needed to cover the bread)

– Marinated tofu for substituting pork (vegan option)

– Jackfruit for substituting pork (vegan option)

– Gluten-free baguettes as a gluten-free option

– Light cheese for a lower-calorie version

Instructions

1-First, brown the pork and ham briefly in a skillet over medium heat to enhance their flavors and add a nice sear.

2-Next, toast the baguette slices cut side down in the skillet for about 2 minutes until they’re lightly golden.

3-Then, assemble the sandwich by layering the 4 large thin slices of Mojo Marinated Pork, 2 slices of thinly sliced baked leg ham, 2 thin slices of Swiss cheese, and 2 to 3 thinly sliced dill pickles on the bottom half of the baguette, spreading American mustard on the bread first.

4-After that, brush the outside of the assembled sandwich with melted butter and cook it in the skillet under pressure for about 3 minutes per side until the bread is golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.

5-Finally, remove the sandwich from the heat, let it rest for 1 minute, then cut it in half for serving. Adapt as needed, like using vegan cheese for dietary preferences.
