🌯 Transform the classic French dip sandwich into convenient, bite-sized roll-ups that are perfect for parties or easy weeknight dinners
πŸ₯© Experience the perfect combination of tender roast beef, melted provolone, and crispy onions with a rich, savory dipping sauce

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 4 large 12-inch flour tortillas

– 4 slices provolone cheese (about 5 ounces)

– 1/2 pound (approximately 227 grams) deli sliced roast beef

– 3/4 cup French fried onions

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 can (10.5 ounces or about 300 ml) beef consommΓ©

– 3/4 cup water

– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1 teaspoon soy sauce

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

1-First, preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C) to get things nice and hot for baking.

2-Lay the tortillas flat on a surface and tear the provolone cheese into pieces, spreading it evenly over each one.

3-Layer the roast beef over the cheese, then sprinkle the French fried onions on top for that extra crunch.

4-Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll them tightly, brushing a bit of olive oil on the edge to seal everything in place.

5-Place the rolled tortillas seam side down on a baking sheet and brush the tops with the remaining olive oil.

6-Bake for about 10 minutes or until they turn a golden brown. While they bake, mix the beef consommΓ©, water, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder in a saucepan and heat over medium until warm.

7-Finally, serve the roll-ups cut in half alongside the warm dipping sauce for the full experience.

Notes

🌯 Use large burrito-sized tortillas for easier rolling and warm them briefly if needed to increase pliability
πŸ§€ Tear or shred provolone cheese for even coverage and request thinly sliced roast beef to simplify rolling
πŸ”₯ Roll tortillas tightly and do not omit the dipping sauce, which complements the dish’s flavor perfectly
