6 to 8 cloves garlic, very finely sliced
2 to 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or a neutral-flavored oil such as canola or grapeseed
2 Β½ teaspoons minced garlic
4 tablespoons butter, divided (salted or unsalted)
1 Β½ cups long grain white rice
2 Β½ cups broth
ΒΌ to Β½ cup sliced green onions

Instructions
1-Heat the oil: Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sautΓ© constantly until golden and crisp, then drain on paper towels and set aside.
2-Pour out any excess oil: Pour out any excess oil from the pan and return it to the stove.
3-Add 2 tablespoons of the butter: Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 Β½ minutes until lightly golden and fragrant.
4-Add the rice: Add the rice and stir to coat it with the garlic butter mixture.
5-Pour in the broth: Pour in the broth, cover with a lid, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, or until all the liquid is absorbed.
6-Remove from heat: Remove from heat and let the rice rest with the lid on for 10 minutes.
7-Fluff the rice with a fork: Fluff the rice with a fork, then transfer to a serving bowl. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the sliced green onions, or use them as a garnish. Sprinkle with the crispy garlic slices, salt, and pepper before serving.
