๐Ÿ— Master the art of perfectly grilled chicken with this simple Italian dressing marinade that guarantees tender, juicy results every time – ideal for busy weeknights and weekend barbecues
๐Ÿ”ฅ Transform ordinary chicken breasts into an impressive meal with minimal effort and maximum flavor – perfect for meal prep, salads, sandwiches, or as a standalone protein-packed dish

  • Total Time: 45 minutes (minimum)
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

– 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

– 1 cup Italian dressing

Instructions

1-First, place the chicken breasts in a container or bag and pour 1 cup of Italian dressing over them. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 6 hours to marinate, which helps lock in flavors and keep the meat tender.

2-Prepare the chicken by trimming excess fat for even cooking.

3-In a bowl, mix the marinade ingredients if needed, but in this case, it’s just the Italian dressing.

4-Coat the chicken breasts thoroughly and let them rest in the fridge for the right time.

5-Preheat an indoor grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375 to 450ยฐF (190 to 232ยฐC).

6-Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking and place the chicken on the grill.

7-Grill the chicken breasts for 4 to 6 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 160ยฐF (70ยฐC).

8-Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing and serving.

Notes

๐ŸŒก๏ธ Allow the chicken to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before grilling to promote even cooking throughout the meat
๐Ÿ”ฅ Ensure the grill is thoroughly preheated (20 minutes for outdoor grills, 5 to 10 minutes for indoor grills) to prevent sticking and create beautiful grill marks
๐ŸŒก๏ธ Use a meat thermometer to confirm the chicken is cooked through and remains juicy – overcooking is the most common mistake with grilled chicken
