5-Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently to combine.

6-Fold in the coconut flakes or shreds to add that tropical touch.

7-Pour the batter into the prepared pan and, if you like, sprinkle extra shredded coconut on top for added texture.

8-Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
