Ingredients

– 1 lemon, zested

– 2 large eggs

– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

– ยพ cup powdered sugar

– 1 ยฝ tablespoons fresh lemon juice

– Zest of ยฝ lemon

Instructions

2-In a large bowl or stand mixer bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, and lemon zest until light and fluffy.

3-Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

4-Mix in the fresh lemon juice.

5-Add the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.

6-Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top evenly.

7-Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10-15 minutes.

8-For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest, then pour over the cooled brownies and spread evenly.

9-Finally, let cool completely before slicing into 16 squares.
