Instructions

1-Getting started with Marry Me Shrimp Pasta: is simple and fun, beginning with prepping your ingredients for smooth cooking. First, cook your pasta to al dente using 12 ounces of gluten-free penne, following package instructions to avoid overcooking. This sets the base for the dish, ensuring it absorbs the creamy sauce just right.

2-Next, season and sauté 1 pound of peeled and deveined extra-large shrimp with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in 1 ½ tablespoons of sun-dried tomato oil until they turn pink and form a C-shape, which takes just a couple of minutes. In the same pan, make the sauce by sautéing 2 ½ tablespoons of tomato paste, ½ cup diced onions, 1 tablespoon garlic, ⅓ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ¾ teaspoon dried basil, and 2 tablespoons of gluten-free flour in 2 tablespoons of butter.

3-Add 2 cups of vegetable broth, 1 cup of heavy cream, and 2 cups of diced spinach to the mixture, cooking until it thickens and the spinach wilts. Stir in 1 cup of parmesan cheese until it’s fully melted and creamy. Finally, combine the shrimp and pasta gently in the pan, garnish with fresh chopped basil, and serve immediately for 6 satisfying portions.
