๐Ÿ‘ Delight in flaky, buttery layers combined with a sweet and cinnamony peach filling perfect for any breakfast.
๐Ÿฅ These easy-to-make cruffins are a delicious twist on classic pastries, ideal for busy mornings or weekend brunch.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12 cruffins

Ingredients

– 3 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent dough

– 1 cup peach preserves

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– ยฝ cup powdered sugar

– 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream

Instructions

1-Start: Start by preheating your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and greasing or lining a muffin tin to prevent sticking. Next, mix the peach preserves with the cinnamon in a bowl to enhance the flavor, creating a simple yet tasty filling that captures the essence of peach pie. Unroll each can of crescent dough into a rectangle, pressing the seams together for a smooth base, then spread about 1/3 cup of the peach mixture evenly over each rectangle.

2-Roll and cut: Roll the dough from the long side into a log, then cut each log into 2 pieces, and slice each piece in half to make 4 pieces per can. Shape each piece by twisting and forming it into a muffin shape before placing it in the prepared tin.

3-Bake and finish: Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until they turn golden brown, filling your kitchen with an inviting aroma. Once done, let them cool slightly, then prepare the icing by whisking together ยฝ cup of powdered sugar and 3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream until smooth, and drizzle it over the cooled cruffins for a finishing touch.
