– 1 large egg

– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

– Additional granulated sugar for rolling (amount as needed)

– About 36 unwrapped milk chocolate candies

Instructions

1-Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and prepare your baking sheets for easy cleanup. In a large bowl, mix the sugars, peanut butter, butter, and egg until smooth and creamy. Then, add the flour, baking soda, and baking powder to form the dough, ensuring everything blends well without overmixing.

2-Shape the dough into one-inch balls and roll each in additional granulated sugar for a sweet coating.

3-Place the balls about two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

4-Bake one sheet at a time for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are light golden brown.

5-Right after removing from the oven, press one milk chocolate candy into the center of each cookie.

6-Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack and let them cool for about one hour until the chocolate sets.
