Instructions
1-Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
2-In a large bowl, mix softened butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
3-Stir in flour, chopped nuts, and salt until the dough holds together.
4-Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place balls about 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
5-Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until set but not browned.
6-Remove cookies from the sheet and cool slightly on a wire rack.
7-While still warm, roll each cookie in powdered sugar.
8-Cool cookies completely on the wire rack.
9-Roll the cooled cookies again in powdered sugar for a thorough coating.
