Instructions

1-First, melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

2-Once it’s fully liquid, stir in the brown sugar, cream, bourbon (or vanilla), syrup, and salt.

3-Cook everything together gently for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring as you go, until the mixture hits 228 232Β°F on a candy thermometer.

4-After reaching the right temperature, pour the sauce into a glass jar and let it cool.

5-Serve it hot or at room temperature for the best results.

6-If it thickens up after cooling, just whisk in a bit more cream to smooth it out.
