โœจ This recipe is easy to prepare and delivers a delightful balance of sweet, tangy, and crunchy textures perfect for dessert or a special treat.

  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 12 bars 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 (8-ounce) tubes of refrigerated crescent rolls or crescent roll dough sheets forms the base and top layers for that flaky texture

2 (8-ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened to room temperature provides the creamy, tangy filling

1 cup sugar (white granulated or a combination of white and brown sugar for a richer flavor) sweetens the cheesecake layer perfectly

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (alternative extracts like maple or butter can be used) adds a subtle depth of flavor

4 tablespoons salted butter, melted helps crisp the top and balances the sweetness

ยฝ cup sugar used in the topping for extra sweetness

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon mixes into the topping for a warm, spicy finish

Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure even baking.

2-Spray a 9ร—13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray, preferably one containing flour, for easy release.

3-Unroll one tube of crescent rolls and layer it on the bottom of the pan, pressing the seams together if needed.

4-In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and blended for a creamy filling.

5-Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom layer of crescent rolls.

6-Layer the remaining tube of crescent rolls on top, pressing seams together if using regular tubes.

7-Drizzle the 4 tablespoons of melted salted butter over the top for a golden finish.

8-Sprinkle the combined ยฝ cup sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon mixture evenly on top.

9-Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes or until the top is light golden brown.

10-Cut into 12 squares and serve while warm for the best taste.
