Instructions

1-Boil 1/2 gallon of water on the stove until it reaches a rolling boil.

2-Pour the hot water into a one-gallon pitcher, then add the 3 family-size tea bags and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, but do not stir.

3-Let the tea steep for 15 minutes, ensuring the tea bags are fully submerged.

4-Remove the tea bags and allow them to drip without squeezing to avoid bitterness and tea particles.

5-Stir in the 2 cups of sugar until fully dissolved.

6-Add the remaining 1/2 gallon of cold water and stir again.

7-Chill in the refrigerator for several hours before serving over ice.
