– 1 pound dried spaghetti
– 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
– 6 to 8 cloves garlic, very thinly sliced

Instructions
1-Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil and cook 1 pound of dried spaghetti until just one minute shy of al dente, as per the package instructions.
2-While the pasta cooks, heat 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil in a large sautΓ© pan over medium heat.
3-Add 6 to 8 cloves of very thinly sliced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes; sautΓ© for 3 to 5 minutes until the garlic is lightly golden but not burned.
4-Transfer the pasta to the pan using tongs, along with 1/2 cup of hot, starchy pasta water. Toss continuously until the pasta is evenly coated and the sauce becomes glossy, adding more pasta water if needed.
5-Taste and season with additional salt or crushed red pepper flakes as desired. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and/or freshly grated Parmesan cheese if you like.
6-Serve immediately while hot, ensuring the dish retains its fresh, vibrant flavors.
