Instructions

1-Preheat oven to 375ยฐF and line two baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper to ensure even baking and easy cleanup.

2-Cream together butter and sugars in a large bowl until creamy and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes, for a base that adds moisture and sweetness.

3-Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing just until combined, to bind the ingredients together effectively.

4-Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing just until combined, then fold in chocolate chips and colored chocolate candies to incorporate the fun elements.

5-Using a large cookie scoop (about 3 tablespoons), place dough balls on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart, and add extra chocolate chips or colored chocolate candies on top if desired for a decorative touch.

6-Bake for 7-10 minutes until edges are barely golden brown, then allow to set on the pan for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to finish.
