๐Ÿง€ This creamy whipped feta dip combines the tangy bite of feta with the smoothness of Greek yogurt for a deliciously rich snack.
๐ŸŒฟ Fresh herbs and a drizzle of olive oil elevate this dip, making it perfect for entertaining or healthy snacking.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

– 8 ounces block of quality feta, drained

– 3/4 cup whole milk Greek yogurt, plain and unflavored

– Zest of one lemon

– 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) plus more for serving

– 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes to taste

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

– 2-3 tablespoons toasted pine nuts (optional)

– 1-2 tablespoons crushed pistachios (optional)

Instructions

1-First, combine the feta, Greek yogurt, and lemon zest in a food processor. Blend while slowly adding 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil through the top until the mixture becomes smooth and whipped.

2-Once blended, transfer it to a serving plate and smooth the surface, making a small well in the center.

3-Next, drizzle on extra olive oil and sprinkle with Aleppo pepper or red pepper flakes, fresh mint, parsley, and optional nuts. Serve right away with dippers like pita chips or fresh vegetables for the best taste.

4-If you want to customize, feel free to adjust based on dietary preferences as mentioned earlier.

Notes

๐Ÿง€ Use creamy feta stored in brine for best texture and flavor; avoid dry pre-crumbled feta.
๐ŸŒฟ Choose a robust extra virgin olive oil to enhance richness and flavor of the dip.
โฑ๏ธ Serve immediately; refrigeration thickens the dip but you can let it warm to room temperature before serving.
