Tasty Oreo Witch Hat Cookies If you ask me, the best Halloween treats are the ones you can throw together on a Tuesday night with a kid on a stool beside you. These Tasty Oreo Witch Hat Cookies are exactly that kind of project.

  • Total Time: 0 min
  • Yield: 12 cookies 1x

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients
12 cookies double-stuffed chocolate sandwich cookies
12 chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

1-Prepare your work area and ingredients: Prepare your work area and ingredients. Lay a sheet of parchment paper on the counter. Arrange the 12 Double Stuf Oreo cookies on the parchment so they’re ready for decorating. Have the unwrapped Hershey’s Kisses and Halloween-themed sprinkles nearby for easy assembly.
2-Melt the chocolate chips: Melt the chocolate chips. Place 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly after each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat, as chocolate can burn easily.
3-Assemble the witch hat cookies: Assemble the witch hat cookies. Take each Oreo cookie and dunk one side into the melted chocolate. Place the chocolate-coated side facing up on the parchment paper. Quickly press an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss into the melted chocolate center of each cookie. Immediately sprinkle Halloween-themed sprinkles onto the wet chocolate around the rim of the cookie, before the chocolate hardens. Repeat for all cookies.
